Had the opportunity to sign some books with Melissa Maloney Wallace and meet some great kids who loved Snoballs and Snoballs for All! If you like coloring books, check out her book It’s Great to be a NOLA Kid.
Join Alex McConduit, this Saturday, March 7th, at The Little Toy Shop (900 Decatur St) from 11 – 1pm as he hosts his first book signing for the Pelican Publishing release of Snoballs for All.
The best part of a hot, humid New Orleans summer is slurping up a big, round, icy-cold, brightly-colored snoball. That’s exactly what Paul wants to do, but he can’t find the snoball festival! He searches all through the city for just one snoball (although two would be better, and three would be best). Where will Paul find snoballs for all?
The new version, written by Alexander Brian McConduit & illustrated by the talented Paulina Ganucheau, includes an updated story and all new illustrations. The book also marks McConduit’s first book brought to market outside of the self-publishing world. Pre-order your copy NOW!
This week, I’m honored to have been invited to participate in #ChildrensBookWeek at the New Orleans Public Library. I’ll be visiting five different branches this week to read and sign books for all the kids in the city. The best part about being an author is seeing children’s faces light up when they sit down to hear a good story. Very much so looking forward to it! See the schedule below or check it out on the New Orleans Public Library’s website here.
Central City Library at 10am
Robert E. Smith Library at 2pm
Children’s Resource Center at 10:30am
New Orleans Public Library Main Branch at 2pm
Norman Mayer Branch Library at 1pm
