Hello, I’m Veronica
The sky is not completely dark at night. Were the sky absolutely dark, one would not be able to see the silhouette of an object against the sky.

Book Signing at A Tisket A Tasket in the French Quarter
I held my first official book signing last Saturday at A Tisket A Tasket in the French Quarter. I had a really good time, met some nice people and sold some books. I enjoyed seeing lots of people from Lafayette enjoying my book. Hopefully some of the teachers I met will invite me out to read.

Reading at Bell Chase Academy
Last week I had the opportunity to read over at Bell Chase Academy. It was my first time visiting a military base and I enjoyed it. The PTO was kind enough to invite me over and the kids seemed to like the story. I gave the school’s library a signed copy of my book and I hope the kids really paid attention to what I had to tell them.

Storyland “We Love the Saints Day!”
This Saturday I join the Fairy God Mother and the kids at Storyland for “We Love the Saints Day”! I had a great time reading with the kids and talking to them about following their dreams. I read, we played and kids & parents lead a second line around the park as we all cheered “Who Dat, who dat, who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints!!!”. With the looks of how the game turned out, I think next time we need to cheer a little LOUDER!!
Get em next week Saints!!!! Let’s go Brees…. Check out a few pics below!
