I had a wonderful time at The Uptown Learning Center Friday morning. I was invited by a friend to read and talk to the kids and I almost didn’t make it. Luckily, I was able to move my schedule around and still make the reading. I read to groups between the ages of 2 & 5, and they all listened and participated very well. I was sort of surprised to see the younger ones screaming “SNOWBALLS FOR ALL” just like the older ones. Today’s reading also has me really excited about releasing my new book, Thorn in My Horn, and sharing all of the cool things that I’ve been added it with all of the kids in New Orleans.
